Shri Mann Travels

You can find Shri Mann Travels on Upper Road in Haridwar, very close to Har Ki Pauri. This is probably one of the busiest streets you can imagine in this city. There is always a crowd of people, rickshaws, and the sound of bells from the temples nearby. Our shop is right in the middle of all that chaos. We spend our time managing the travel desk and trying to hear people over the noise outside on the street. It is a small space but we have everything we need to keep the business going every day. We have a big map on the wall that is starting to peel at the edges from the humidity. Most of our work involves coordinating with drivers who are trying to navigate the narrow lanes around here to pick up guests. It is a tough job sometimes because the traffic never seems to stop until late at night. We usually have a pot of tea on the go and some biscuits for whoever stops by to chat. We don't really have a set routine because every day brings a different set of travelers with different needs. Sometimes we are up very early to see off the first group of the day before the sun is even up. The location is great because we are right where the action is, even if it gets a bit overwhelming on festival days. We just keep our heads down and work.
