Shri Brij Bhushan Education Foundation

Shri Brij Bhushan Education Foundation operates out of room 614 at the Vishwa Bal Mandir School in Adarsh Nagar. Since we are based right inside a school in Roorkee, we are always surrounded by kids and teachers. It is a lively place, though it can get quite noisy during recess. We have been here in Haridwar district for a while, focusing on how to help students get through their classes. We do not have any big corporate funding. Most of what we do comes from just being here and seeing what the kids need every day. It might be some extra books or just a quiet place for someone to study after hours. The school staff helps us out when they can. We are not trying to be the biggest foundation in India. We just want to make sure the kids in Adarsh Nagar have a fair shot at finishing their schooling. Roorkee is a place where education matters a lot, but not everyone has the same start. We try to bridge that gap a little bit. Our office is just a simple room with some old desks and a lot of paper. It is not fancy, but it gets the job done. We do not use complicated words or have a big PR team. We just open the door in the morning and see who needs help. It is straightforward and keeps us focused on the students who are right in front of us.
