Our little office is right in Shop Number 3 at Purohit Lodge. It’s quite close to Har ki Pauri, so it’s always busy around here with the crowds and the sounds from the river. Working in Haridwar means you are always in the middle of everything. Shreekanth Buildtron is just a small team of us trying to get things built. We handle various construction projects around the city and the nearby areas. Usually, someone walks in through the door because they saw our sign while walking toward the ghats. It’s a noisy spot, but it works for us. We keep our files organized in a couple of cabinets and spend most of our time out on site visits anyway. Building in an old city like this has its own set of problems, mostly with space and getting trucks through the narrow lanes. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone with fancy brochures. Most of our work comes from people recommending us to their cousins or neighbors. We just try to do a decent job on the masonry and the structure. If the roof doesn't leak and the walls are straight, we’ve done our part. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the evening bells start ringing. We’ve been at this shop for a while now and it feels like home. There is always someone coming by to ask about a project.
