Ganga Fabricators

Ganga Fabricators is over at B 46 in Shivalik Nagar. It is more of a workshop than a shop, really. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or the buzz of the machines going. We have a lot of iron bars and sheets of steel piled up in the yard and inside the main shed. It is quite dusty and there are black marks on the walls from the welding work we do. Shivalik Nagar is a decent area with a lot of other small workshops and houses around. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot to work with the heavy tools. The floor is just rough cement and it's covered in scraps of metal and some oil spots here and there. We wear our old clothes because everything gets dirty within five minutes of starting work. There is a big sliding door at the front that we keep open to let the air circulate, otherwise it gets too stuffy inside with the smell of burnt metal. We don't have a front desk or anything like that; if someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk in and find us near the back. It’s hard work and our hands are always stained, but it is what we do. We’ve been at B 46 for a long time and the neighbors are used to the noise by now. We usually wrap up before it gets dark.
