Shiv Motors

Shiv Motors is out in Village Kharoli right by the National Highway Number 58. Being on the Haridwar By Pass means we see a lot of travelers and long-distance trucks zooming past our front door all day long. It is a very different feeling than being in the middle of a crowded city street. You can see the open fields behind the shop and the air feels a little bit fresher most days when the wind blows. We have been here in Kharoli for quite some time and the local people all know us by name. The highway is always humming with the sound of tires on the asphalt which becomes like white noise after a while. It is a good spot for a motor business because there is always someone needing something as they pass through on their way somewhere else. Our shop is not very big but we make good use of the space we have to keep things running. We keep a lot of our tools and parts within reach so we can work quickly for our customers. Sometimes the highway traffic gets backed up for miles and it gets really loud and dusty. We usually just put our heads down and get on with the work at hand. It is an unpolished place with some old posters on the walls and a lot of grease on the floor. We are just a small team of people who know their way around an engine. If you are driving toward Haridwar you will see us on the bypass. It is hard to miss.
