Sanidhya Gramin Nidhi Limited is situated on the second floor of Shagun Plaza. We’re right near the railway crossing in Haridwar, so we hear the trains go by pretty frequently throughout the day. It’s a sound you get used to after a week or two of working here. Being in Haridwar, things can get pretty crowded during the festival seasons, but our office stays relatively calm. We’ve got a view of the street from the second floor, which is nice for people-watching during breaks. Our team is small, just a handful of local folks who know the area well. We handle the daily operations by hand mostly, keeping track of what everyone needs. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find marble floors or fancy coffee machines. We have a kettle for tea and some sturdy desks that have seen better days. People come up the stairs to talk about their accounts, and we sit with them until everything is clear. We don't like to rush things because mistakes happen when you’re in a hurry. The railway crossing can be a bit of a bottleneck for traffic, so we tell people to plan their visits accordingly. It’s just a normal office doing normal things for the people of Uttarakhand. We take pride in being a reliable spot where the locals can walk in and get their questions answered without any unnecessary corporate drama.
