Saksham Tour & Travel

Saksham Tour & Travel is located at Radhey Vinod Bhawan in the Bhimgoda area of Haridwar. We have been working out of this spot for a while now. The Bhimgoda tank is close by so there are always people walking around the neighborhood. Our office is inside the Bhawan and it is a pretty quiet place most of the time. We spend our hours sitting at the desk, looking at schedules, and talking to people who want to book a car or a bus for their trip. It is not a very fancy setup, just some basic furniture and a lot of maps stuck to the wall. We have a small window that looks out onto the street and we watch the pilgrims go by during the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We keep all our records in big files that are stacked up in the corner on a wooden shelf. My brother helps me with the phone calls because they can get quite frequent during the heavy pilgrimage season. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in to ask for help. It is mostly local folks or people staying in the nearby guest houses. We just focus on managing the vehicles and making sure the drivers know where they are going each day.
