Shakambari Packaging

Shakambari Packaging is located in the Safdarabad area, near Haridwar. Our daily life revolves around boxes, tape, and various wrapping materials. The workspace is a large, open area because we need the room to move things around. It’s often quite dusty because of the cardboard and the trucks coming in and out. We aren't a high-tech operation; most of our work is done by hand or with simple machines. We spend our hours cutting, folding, and stacking. The sound of tape dispensers is a constant background noise here. In Safdarabad, the weather can get quite hot, and the tin roof of our building doesn't help much in the summer months. We just keep the fans going and carry on with the work as best as we can. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you visit, you'll see stacks of raw materials and finished bundles waiting to be loaded onto a truck. It’s a practical environment where the focus is on getting the orders ready on time. Sometimes a machine breaks down, and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it instead of packing. It’s just how things go. We deal with a lot of local businesses who need their goods protected for transport. Our team is small, mostly just people from around here who know the job inside out. It’s physical work, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired, but the work is done and that is what matters.
