S. K. Engineering Works

S. K. Engineering Works is located on Delhi Road, right across from Gyansthali Bhood Bharal. It is a simple workshop where we do all sorts of metal fabrication and repair jobs. You can usually find us surrounded by scraps of iron and old machine parts. The sound of the grinders is almost constant during the day. We have a few lathes and some old welding machines that have been with us for a long time. It is a very hands-on environment. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you just walk into the shop and talk to whoever isn't busy with a machine. The floor is made of hard concrete and is stained with years of oil and grease. We have a small crew of guys who really know their stuff. We spend our time turning parts or fixing broken frames for people. The road outside is always loud with traffic, and dust blows in when the wind picks up. We keep the big doors open to let the light in. It is an honest way to make a living. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Most of our work comes from people who live or work nearby and know we can fix things. We just focus on getting the measurements right and finishing the work so the customer is satisfied.
