Karvin Industrial Services

Down on Sot Street, things can get pretty gritty. That’s where we have Karvin Industrial Services set up. It’s an old part of town, and the buildings have a lot of character, or at least that’s what we call the cracks in the walls. We do the kind of work that gets your hands dirty. It’s mostly industrial stuff, helping out the factories and the bigger shops with their mechanical needs. We don't have a shiny storefront because we don't really need one. Most of our work happens on-site or in the back where the tools are kept. We have some heavy machinery that makes a lot of noise, so the neighbors probably aren't always happy with us. But we've been on Sot Street long enough that everyone knows who we are. It’s just a small group of us who know how to handle the equipment. We don't go in for big mission statements or corporate values. We just show up on time and try to fix what’s broken. Sometimes the parts we need take forever to arrive, and we have to improvise, but we always find a way to get it done. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and it keeps us busy. That’s all we ever really wanted from the business. We take things as they come and don't overcomplicate the small stuff. It is just honest work at the end of the day.
