Punj Lloyd Ltd / Gurgaon

Our Haridwar office is over in the Railway Loco Colony, B.No.-E-1/B. We are quite close to Devpura, which is a busy area. Being near the railway colony means we hear the trains at all hours, but you get used to it after a week or so. Punj Lloyd Ltd / Gurgaon uses this spot as a base for the Uttarakhand region. It is an older building with a lot of character, though the stairs are a bit narrow. Inside, the rooms are filled with maps, schedules, and various bits of equipment. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and heat up our lunch. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If someone comes by, one of us just gets up from our desk to see what they need. Haridwar is a spiritual place, and you can feel that energy even in a work setting. We deal with a lot of logistics and local coordination from here. Some days the traffic near the station is a nightmare, so we try to get in early. It is not the most modern office, but it is functional and the location is convenient for travel. We just keep our heads down and do the work that is expected of us. Every day is a little bit different depending on the trains and the visitors.
