Our business is based at 38b Navodaya Nagar, which is part of the Sidcul area in Roshnabad, Haridwar. Being in an industrial zone like Sidcul means things are always moving. It is not the quietest place to work, but it suits us just fine. Our building is a straightforward apparel workshop. We have rows of sewing machines and large tables for cutting the fabric. It is a lot of manual labor, and we spend most of our hours standing or sitting at the machines. The lighting is okay, but we added some extra bulbs near the workstations to see better. Haridwar can get really humid, so the air inside can feel a bit heavy sometimes. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for a long time. We are not a big corporation with fancy titles. We just show up and do what needs to be done. There is a lot of paperwork involved too, which usually sits in stacks on the old desk in the corner. We get our lunch from a small stall down the street. It is a routine that works for us. We do not have a storefront where you can browse through racks. It is more of a production house. We deal with bulk fabric and thread every single day. The floor is usually dusty with lint, but that is just part of the job. We have been at this Navodaya Nagar address for quite some time now.
