Pandit Ji Yatra Comany

You can find the Pandit Ji Yatra Comany over in the Shiv Shakti Vihar area. We are located on Kankhal Road, which is pretty close to Sati Kund. Kankhal is one of the older parts of Haridwar 249401 and it really has a lot of history to it. Our day usually starts very early in the morning because that is when the pilgrims like to start their journeys. We mostly focus on yatras and helping people get to the different temples in the region. It is a small operation we run here. We just sit in the office and talk to people about what they want to do. The area around Sati Kund is usually busy with people coming for their prayers and rituals. We have been here for many years and have seen the whole neighborhood change quite a bit. There are way more buildings and shops now than there were when we first started out. We keep a handwritten list of decent places to stay and we try to keep track of which roads are best for the cars. It is mostly about being practical and knowing the land. If a road is closed for some reason, we usually know another way to get there. We do not have a fancy corporate office, just a simple room with a couple of chairs. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It is a slow way of working but it suits us and our neighbors.
