Pandit Confectionery

If you are walking down Dehradun Road in Haridwar, you will find Pandit Confectionery right at Shankracharya Chowk. We are very close to the Swami Narayan Mandir, which is a big landmark around here. Our shop is where people stop for small things like biscuits, chips, or some sweets while they are out for a walk or visiting the temple. Haridwar is always full of pilgrims and locals, so the road stays busy almost all the time. We have been sitting here at this spot, watching the traffic go by every day. It is a small shop, packed with different jars and packets on the shelves. We don't have a big seating area or anything, it is mostly a place where you just pick up what you need and go. The location at the chowk makes it easy for everyone to spot us. We keep a variety of snacks because different people want different things. Sometimes kids come in for candies, and other times elders stop by for some daily supplies. It is a simple life running a shop like this in a holy city like Haridwar. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the day to start. There is nothing complicated about how we work. We just try to have the usual items people look for when they are passing through Shankracharya Chowk on their way somewhere else. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop.
