Our office is in Roorkee, at House No.-426/1 in the Old Tehsil Rajputana area. It’s an old part of town with a lot of history. Being in Roorkee, we’re close to the engineering college and the canal, but our work is mostly focused on shipping. We’ve been in this building for a long time. It’s a sturdy old house that we’ve used as our base. Inside, you’ll find piles of logs and charts and a few old computers. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations. Most of the time, the fans are just humming and we are talking to people about their cargo. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but most people know the way. The winters here get quite cold, so we usually have some hot tea going throughout the day. We are a small group of people who have been doing this for decades. Some of us started here right after school. We don’t have a marketing department or a big sales team. If you need something shipped, you just come by and we talk about it. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. Sometimes things go wrong with the shipping lines, and we have to spend hours on the phone fixing it. That’s just part of the job. We don’t make big promises we can’t keep. We just do our best with what we have and keep the records straight.
