If you are walking through the crowded streets of Bada Bazar, you will eventually find us. We are known locally as Mehta Vastra Bhandar, but the sign says Mvb Indian Apparel. We are really close to Har Ki Paudi, so we get a lot of people passing by who are visiting the water. The shop is filled with stacks of different fabrics and clothes piled up on the shelves. It can get a bit cramped when there are more than three or four people inside at once. Most days, we are just busy folding things back up or helping someone find a specific color they need. Bada Bazar is always noisy and there is always something going on outside the front door. We have been in this spot for a while now, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. The morning sun hits the front of the shop quite hard, so we usually have the awning down to keep things a bit cooler inside. People come in looking for stuff to wear for weddings or just everyday things. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular shop where we keep things simple and try to help folks find what they are looking for without making a big deal out of it. The floor is a bit old and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, but it's home to us.
