Mehra Clinic

Mehra Clinic is located on Dhanpura Laksar Road. If you know the area, you know it’s a bit of a trek depending on where you're coming from. The road outside gets quite dusty when the trucks go by, so we're constantly wiping down the front windows. It’s a straightforward setup we have here. Just a few rooms and a place for people to sit while they wait their turn. We’ve been at this spot for some time. Most of the people who come in are locals from Dhanpura or the nearby villages along Laksar Road. It’s not a quiet place, especially during the day with all the transport moving back and forth. We don't have a receptionist with a headset or anything like that. Usually, it's just one of us checking who’s next. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Work keeps us occupied enough. We deal with whatever walks through the door. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a clicking noise, but they keep the air moving. It’s a basic clinic for the people around here. We don't try to be something we're not. People come here because they know the name and they know where to find us on the main road. It’s just a regular part of the day for us, seeing neighbors and helping out.
