We started Layba Travels right here by the Dargah Sabir Pak. It’s a busy spot in Piran Kaliyar Sharif, and we’ve been around for a while now. Most people coming through are here for the shrine, so we mostly help folks getting from the station or driving around Roorkee. My cousin and I handle most of the bookings. It’s not a big fancy office, just a desk and some chairs where we sit and talk to people about where they need to go. Haridwar isn't too far, but the roads get crowded during festivals. We have a few cars and drivers who know these lanes like the back of their hand. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with the traffic around the Dargah, but that’s just how it is here. People stop by, ask for directions, or look for a ride to the main road. We don’t really do fancy brochures or anything. It’s mostly just word of mouth and people seeing our sign when they walk past. We try to keep things simple. If a car is available, we send it out. If not, we tell you straight. It’s honest work and we like meeting the different travelers who come for blessings. The weather gets really hot in the summer, so we spend a lot of time drinking tea and waiting for the next phone call. That's pretty much our daily life here in Roorkee. We've seen a lot of pilgrims over the years.
