Chandna Digital Studio

Our studio is right in Jwalapur, directly opposite the police station. It’s a convenient landmark because everyone knows where the station is. We have been here for a while now, clicking photos and printing them out for the neighborhood. Inside, we have the backdrop curtains and a few lights that we move around depending on who is sitting for a picture. Most days, it’s people needing passport photos in a hurry or families coming in for a portrait. We have the computer set up in the front where we do the editing and the printing. It isn't a huge space, but we make it work. Sometimes the printer acts up or the lighting isn’t just right, so we have to fiddle with things until they look okay. We keep a few frames on the wall to show what we do, but mostly it’s just a working shop. We sit on the stools near the counter when it’s quiet and wait for the next person to walk in. You can hear the traffic from the main road outside all the time. We try to keep the glass clean, but with the dust from the street, it’s a constant job. We aren't trying to be anything fancy, just a local spot where you can get your photos taken without any fuss.
