Jrs Instruments

Over here at Mathura Vihar, things stay relatively quiet compared to the main city roads. Our place is 711/87, and it’s where we handle all the instrument work. It’s a bit of a tight space because instruments need a lot of care and specific storage. We spend hours looking at small dials and calibrated parts. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see what we are doing. Mathura Vihar is a decent neighborhood for a business like Jrs Instruments. We don't have many walk-in customers since most of our work is pre-arranged. It’s mostly just us and the specialized tools we use every day. The shelves are filled with boxes of different sizes, all containing some kind of measuring device or technical tool. We have to be careful with everything because even a small drop can ruin the calibration. Sometimes the neighbors ask what exactly we do, and it’s hard to explain without getting too technical. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We drink a lot of coffee while going through the inventory lists. The building itself is old, but it serves the purpose. We don't spend much on decorating the office; we’d rather have better tools on the benches. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure these instruments are ready.
