Shakti Crane Services

Our yard is located right on the Bye Pass Road over in Sitapur Jawala Pur. If you’ve driven past, you probably saw the yellow crane arms sticking up. Shakti Crane Services is basically just us and our machinery. We spend a lot of time waiting for the phone to ring and then heading out to wherever someone’s truck got stuck or where a new building is going up. Operating these things takes a lot of focus. You can't really afford to be distracted when you're lifting something heavy. The traffic on Bye Pass Road can be a real headache some mornings when we're trying to get the equipment out, but we manage. We’ve been through all kinds of weather out here. Sometimes the mud makes it tough to position the stabilizers, but that’s just part of the day. We don't have a big office with fancy chairs. Mostly, we’re just in the cabin of the crane or standing around the yard checking the oil and the cables. It’s greasy work and your hands are never really clean. People call us because they have a problem that only a big machine can solve. We show up, do the lift, and head back to the shop. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy enough. The cranes are old but we keep them running well because they're how we make our living. We mostly just focus on the task right in front of us.
