Our place is over at I P No. 2 in the Sidcul area. It’s an industrial patch, so it’s mostly just warehouses and factories around us. We’ve been set up here for some time now. The building is basic, just concrete and metal, which is all we really need for engineering work. It gets loud inside when the machines are running, but that’s the sound of things getting made. We don't have a lot of staff, just a handful of us who know the machines inside and out. We aren't big on talking; we just like to get the parts right. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance, which can be a bit of a headache, but we manage. The lights flicker a bit when the heavy power kicks in, but we’re used to it. We keep our tools organized, mostly, though things get messy during a busy week. There’s no fancy lobby or air conditioning in the back where the work happens. We just drink water and keep moving. It’s a bit out of the way for some people, but it’s a good spot for what we do. We aren't looking to expand into some massive corporation. This size works for us and we know everyone who walks through the door. It’s just Hema Engineering, doing what we know how to do day after day. We usually close up early on Saturdays to head home and get some rest.
