Haridwar Chits Private Limited is located at Rekha Rani’s place in the Sai Kripa Building. We are right opposite the Luv Kush Mandir in Bhupatwala. If you have ever been to Haridwar, you know how busy it gets around the temples, especially during the festivals. Our building is usually a bit calmer once you step inside. We’ve been running things here for a while now. It’s a small operation, mostly just family and a couple of helpers. People know they can find us here most days of the week. Bhupatwala is a nice area, even with all the pilgrims passing through. We handle the chit funds for the locals who want to save up for something big like a wedding or a new bike. It isn't anything like those big offices you see in the movies. We have some wooden chairs and a big ledger on the table. Sometimes the incense from the temple across the street drifts in and makes the whole office smell nice. We don't do much advertising because everyone knows us already. A neighbor tells another neighbor, and that is how we grow. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, keeping things close to home and making sure everyone is treated fairly. We just do our bit. Our neighbors trust us with their monthly contributions. We keep a close eye on the books and make sure everything is recorded by hand.
