G. K. Travels

Our place is G. K. Travels and we are based at Shop No-4 in Gujranwala Bhawan, Haridwar. We are near the Laltero Pil area which is a well-known landmark around here. The building we are in has a lot of history and you can tell by the way the walls look. We have a small office that stays quite cool even when it is hot outside because of the old construction. Most of the day is spent talking to customers or calling our drivers to see if they reached their destinations. We keep a big ledger on the desk to write everything down because we don't always trust the computer to save the information. There is a tea stall just around the corner and we probably spend too much time there talking to the neighbors. The office has a few old chairs that aren't the most comfortable but they do the job for now. We see a lot of people coming and going from the Bhawan throughout the day. It is a busy little corner of Haridwar. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just a simple board with our name on it. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we are. We just try to get through the daily list of trips without any major headaches or delays. It is a simple way to make a living and we have been doing it this way for years now.
