We operate out of Roorkee, right near the Santoshi Maa Mandir at Prema Pokhriyal’s place. It’s a quiet enough spot in the Haridwar-247667 area, which makes it easy to get around to different sites. FAUNA CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED isn’t some huge firm with a glass office building. We’re mostly out in the field, wearing boots and checking on progress. Roorkee has its own pace, and we try to stick to it. Most of our work involves the basic nuts and bolts of putting buildings together. You won’t find any fancy corporate talk here. We just know how to handle the local materials and the heat that hits this part of Uttarakhand in the summer. It gets pretty intense, so we usually start early in the morning to beat the sun. There are days when things don't go according to plan, like when a machine breaks down or we have a shortage of sand. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s been a learning process for all of us. We have a small crew and we mostly rely on word of mouth from people who have seen our work around the Mandir or other parts of town. We are just trying to keep busy and do a decent job that stays standing. It’s about being reliable and showing up when we say we will. We don't make it complicated. That’s the way we work.
