D Faiz E Rahimi Education Foundation

You can find us over in Dhakrani village, which is part of the Vikasnagar area. We are located at Masoom’s place. It’s a quiet village setting, very different from the big cities. We like being out here in Uttarakhand because it’s where we are from and where the work is needed. D Faiz E Rahimi Education Foundation started because we saw a lot of things that could be better around here. We don't have a big fancy office building with a lobby. It’s just a house in the village where we sit down and talk. People from around the village stop by quite often. They know where Masoom lives, so they just walk over when they need something or want to chat. The 248142 area is our home. We’ve lived here a long time and know the families around. It’s not always easy running things from a village, sometimes the roads are bad or the weather is rough, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time just talking to people and figuring out how to help with school stuff and learning. It’s a very local thing we’ve got going on. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want the kids and everyone else here to have a bit of a better chance. It’s simple, honest work that we do right here in Dhakrani every single day without any polished corporate images or fancy equipment.
