Cooper India Limited

Down in the Salaqui Industrial Area in Haridwar district, you’ll find us at Cooper India Limited. It’s a large area with many different factories around us. We’ve been based here for a good number of years now. Our day starts early because the shifts need to change over and the machinery takes a bit of time to get going. It’s a busy spot, with a lot of noise and movement throughout the day. We have quite a few people working here, mostly locals from the surrounding villages and towns. Everyone has their own job to do, whether it’s on the floor or managing the logistics in the back office. The air in Haridwar has that specific feel to it, and even in the industrial zone, you can sense the mountains aren't too far away. We focus on manufacturing and making sure our production lines don't hit too many snags. It’s not always easy, especially when a machine breaks down or a shipment gets delayed, but we manage to work through it. We aren't really about the corporate polish; we’re more about getting the parts made and sent out to where they need to go. There’s a canteen where everyone grabs tea, and that’s where most of the real talking happens. We just try to keep things steady and make sure everyone has what they need to do their job right.
