Brotherhood Foundation

We are located in Gali no-A-1 in the Pandeywala area of Subash Nagar, right here in Jwalapur. It is a tight-knit neighborhood where everyone knows each other’s business. The Brotherhood Foundation started because a few of us wanted to make sure the people in our street and the surrounding blocks had someone to turn to. Our office is just a small room in the back of the building. It is not very big, but it is enough for us to sit down and do our planning. We have a couple of old desks and some chairs that do not quite match. We do not mind that, though. We spend most of our time out in the lanes talking to the residents anyway. We are not trying to be a huge organization with branches everywhere. We just want to help our neighbors in Jwalapur. Sometimes we organize small events or just help someone fill out their forms for the government. It is basic stuff, but it matters to the people here. We do not have a lot of funding, so we have to be very careful with every rupee we spend. We write everything down in old ledgers and keep a close eye on the tasks. It is hard work sometimes, but seeing things get better in the neighborhood makes it worth the effort. We are just local guys doing what we can for our home.
