If you head out towards Ranipur Jhal in Jwalapur, you’ll find Bhumanand College Of Nursing. We are located right here in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, which is a place that feels a bit special because of the surroundings. Being a nursing college, things are a bit more disciplined than your average school. You’ll see students in their clean uniforms heading to their practicals or sitting in the library studying their medical books. The area around Ranipur Jhal is usually quite active, and we are right in the middle of it. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing. We’re just a group of educators and healthcare people who run this place. The building is designed for teaching, with labs and rooms that stay busy throughout the day. Haridwar has its own rhythm, especially with the pilgrims and the river nearby, and we feel like a small part of that. We spend our time checking on the students, making sure they are learning what they need for their future jobs. It’s not always easy, and there’s always something that needs fixing or an administrative task that needs finishing. We don't talk much about excellence or missions. We just show up and do the work because people in Uttarakhand need good nurses. It’s a very grounded, practical place to work, and we just keep the focus on the daily training and the students. It is hard work but it feels right being here in Jwalapur and doing this.
