Arshivad Chikitsalya

We are located right by Chandi Ghat in Haridwar, which is a very specific kind of place to work. Being near the water and the pilgrims means there is a constant flow of people coming and going. Arshivad Chikitsalya isn't a massive medical center; it’s more of a local spot where people can get help without a lot of fuss. The air here feels different because of the river, and on some days, the crowds are huge. We deal with locals who live in the 249401 area year-round and also travelers who might need something while they are visiting the ghats. The space inside is simple. We have the basic things needed to take care of people. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic outside with the bells and the chanting, but inside we try to keep it calm. We don't have a lot of staff, so we all do a bit of everything, from cleaning up to helping the patients. It’s a quiet life in some ways, even with all the noise of Haridwar around us. We see a lot of older folks who have lived here their whole lives. They usually come in for their regular stuff and stay for a chat. It’s part of the job. We don’t really do any big advertising. People just find us because we are right there at Chandi Ghat. It’s a convenient location for anyone spending time near the temples and the river.
