Allied Glasses

Our plot is located at No. 124 in Village Raipur, which is part of the Bhagwanpur area in Haridwar district. It is an industrial setting, so the surroundings are mostly other warehouses and small factories. We handle a lot of glass here, which means you have to be very careful where you walk. The sound of the glass cutters is a constant background noise throughout the day. We all wear thick, protective gloves because the edges can be incredibly sharp if you aren't paying attention. The building is a large shed with a metal roof that makes a deafening sound whenever it rains. Our office is just a small corner that we partitioned off with some old plywood sheets. I keep all the delivery logs and orders there on a messy desk. We have a couple of old tempos that we use to transport the glass sheets to local construction sites. The summer heat in the village is quite brutal, and the shed doesn't have much ventilation, so we drink a lot of water. It is a very physical and demanding job, but we are used to it. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. People just come to us when they need glass for their projects, and we get it cut for them.
