Working at Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Limited means coming to Plot No. 2&5 Sector No. 6B 2Ndc Sidcul Ranipur every single morning. The area around Ranipur is usually pretty busy with trucks and people moving about. We’ve been here for a while now, and the building has seen better days, but it does what it needs to do. Most of us arrive around the same time, dodging the puddles when it rains in the Sidcul area. It’s an industrial spot, so there isn’t much to look at except other plots and factory walls. Inside, things are mostly routine. We have our desks, the old chairs that creak a little, and a bunch of files that seem to never end. There’s a small shop down the road where some of us grab a quick snack during the break. The weather gets quite hot in the afternoons, and the fans just move the warm air around. We talk about regular stuff like the traffic, cricket, or what we are having for dinner. It’s not fancy or anything like you see in movies. It’s just a place where we get our work done. Sometimes the electricity flickers, but we just wait for the generator to kick in. It is just a normal day at Plot No. 2&5. Nothing too special happens most weeks, but we all know each other well enough to make it through the shift without too much trouble.
