Adarsh Ayurvedic Pharmacy is located on Daksh Mandir Road in Kankhal, Haridwar. We are right across the street from the post office. Having the post office there makes it very easy for people to find us if they are new to the area. This part of Haridwar is full of history, but our day-to-day life is quite routine. The shop has a very strong smell of dried herbs, roots, and oils that stays with you. We have old wooden shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with glass jars and cardboard boxes. Many of the labels have been written by hand over the years. We have been registered for a long time. People come in looking for natural remedies for things like their stomach or their joints. A lot of our time is spent measuring out different powders on the scales and folding them into small paper packets. It is quiet work that requires a bit of patience. The post office across the road is always a hub of activity with people coming and going. Sometimes we stand near the doorway just to watch the traffic on the road. The floor is made of old stone that stays cool even in the summer. We still use physical notebooks to track our sales instead of a computer. It feels more natural for a place like this. We take our time with each customer.
