Maheshwar Trading Company

Maheshwar Trading Company is located at Plot No:-A/4 in Punjabi Colony. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels a bit different from a big industrial area. We use a part of the plot for our trading business. It’s mostly just an office and a small area for storing goods before they get moved out again. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some spots. We don’t really have customers coming in off the street to buy things in small quantities. Most of our work is done through phone calls and dealing with other traders. My family has been doing this for a while, and we just took over the space. There’s a small desk where I sit and handle the accounts. We have a few workers who help with the heavy lifting when a truck arrives. It can get pretty cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in at once. We don’t have a website or any fancy brochures to show people. If someone wants to know what we have, they just ask or come by for a tea. The colony is usually quiet except for the sound of our gate opening and closing. It’s a plain, simple way of doing business, and it works for us here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. It's just a small family thing. Sometimes we have to work on weekends just to finish the tallies.
