Tripathi Medical

Tripathi Medical is located on Indore Road, near the Narmada Mandir. It is a good spot because people pass by here on their way in and out of town. The temple is right nearby, so we often see people who are visiting there too. Our shop is a straightforward place. We have a counter at the front and shelves filling up all the walls behind it. It's the kind of place where the owner is usually the one serving you. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who take turns. The building is a bit older, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but we keep the medicine area clean and organized. We see a lot of people from the nearby villages who come to the city for their supplies. It is a quiet place in the mornings, but it picks up quite a bit in the late afternoon. We don’t have a computer system for everything; we still write some things down in a ledger. It works for us. We know our inventory by heart mostly. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside the shop when it’s slow and watch the traffic on Indore Road. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just try to provide what people are looking for when they stop their bikes or cars outside our door. There’s a lot of dust from the road, so we spend a bit of time dusting the boxes.
