Sai Ice Cream Parlour

If you are driving down the Panchmarhi Road in Piparia, you’ll find us right there in Hosangabad. It’s a good spot because a lot of travelers pass through on their way to the hills. We started Sai Ice Cream Parlour because we noticed people always wanted something cold while they were on the road. It’s not a huge place, just a simple room with our freezers and a couple of benches outside. The dust from the road can be a bit much sometimes, so we are always wiping things down to keep it decent. We get a mix of locals from the nearby houses and tourists who are just passing through. Usually, the weekends are our busiest time because of the holiday traffic. We don’t spend money on big signs or posters. Most people just see the shop and pull over when they need a break. We try to keep a good variety in stock, though sometimes the favorites sell out faster than we expect. It can get pretty hot in this part of the state, so the machines have to work overtime. My brother and I take turns running the place from morning until late at night. We don't have a big staff, just us two and sometimes a cousin. It’s hard work but seeing a kid happy with a cone makes it worth the trouble and the long hours we spend here.
