Lotus School Shopping Mall

Lotus School Shopping Mall is sitting right at Ganesh Chowk, near Dr. Bhagwat’s clinic. Despite the name, we aren't a massive mall like you’d see in a big city. We are a local shop that focuses on things students and families need for school life. If you need a uniform that fits right or a specific type of notebook, we usually have it tucked away somewhere on the shelves. Ganesh Chowk is a landmark here, so people find us pretty easily. We spend our mornings unpacking boxes and trying to keep the displays from looking too cluttered. It’s a lot of work, especially when the new school term is about to start and everyone comes in at once. During those times, it can get a little chaotic, but we manage. We aren't using any fancy sales tactics. We just tell people what we have and how much it costs. The shop is a bit cramped sometimes because we try to fit a lot of stock in, but it means we usually have what's needed. We know the doctors and the other shop owners nearby, and it feels like a little community. We’ve been here long enough that we see kids grow up and then bring their own kids in for supplies. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We just keep the doors open and try to be helpful to whoever walks in off the street for a quick shopping trip.
