Jai Bajrang Dall Mills

Our mill is out in Satner, which is part of Tehsil Athner. It’s a rural spot, mostly surrounded by fields. We’ve been running this dall mill for a while. The work is mostly grinding and cleaning pulses. It is noisy and there is always dust in the air. That is just the nature of a mill. We don't have a fancy office. Most of the space is taken up by the machinery and the bags of grain. Farmers from around the area bring their stuff here. We work according to the seasons. When it's harvest time, we are very busy and work long hours. Other times, it's a bit slower. The building is old but it works for what we need. We don’t really have a big staff, just local people from the village. Everyone knows how to handle the equipment. We don't do anything special or use high-tech stuff. It’s just traditional milling. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to stop for a bit. We just sit outside and wait for it to come back. Life moves at a different pace in Satner. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill around. We just want to get the work done right so the product is good. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. People know us in Athner. We have been here at the same post office address for years.
