Shri Balaji Beej Bhandar

Shri Balaji Beej Bhandar is on the Hapur Delhi Garh Road, a place that stays busy with all the farming traffic. We deal with seeds and the things farmers need to get their crops growing. Our shop is full of heavy sacks, and there is always that earthy smell of seeds and fertilizer in the air. Depending on the season, we are either very busy or just sitting around waiting for the rains to start. Farmers from the surrounding villages come in on their tractors or cycles, and we spend a lot of time just talking about the weather and how the soil is looking this year. It’s a practical kind of business. We don't have a lot of bright lights or fancy displays; it’s mostly just stacks of bags and some ledgers where we keep track of what is in stock. The Garh Road is a noisy place with trucks going towards Delhi, so we’re used to the constant sound of engines. We get our hands dusty moving the bags around, and by the end of the day, our clothes usually show it. People come to us because we’ve been here on this road for a while and they know where to find us. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just provide the seeds, talk about the harvest, and watch the traffic go by from our front step. It’s simple work but it’s what we know and what we do.
