Saifi Treders

Our place, Saifi Treders, is situated in Sarai Meera, right on the Bulandshahar Road. We are quite close to the Dank Bangla, which is a landmark most people in this area know. The road outside is always busy with people traveling between towns. Our shop is a bit of a mix of different things we trade. It’s not very organized, to be honest. There are bags and boxes sitting in the corners and the shelves are quite full. We spend our days dealing with suppliers and local buyers who drop in throughout the day. The noise from the Bulandshahar Road is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We have a small desk where we keep our bills and a very old calculator that still works fine. We don't really have a set routine, we just handle things as they come. Sometimes it’s very quiet and we just sit outside on plastic stools and watch the traffic go by for a bit. Other times, three people want things at the same time and it gets a bit hectic. We don't use any big words or try to act like a huge company. We are just local traders doing our bit in Sarai Meera. At the end of the day, we pull down the heavy metal shutters and go home, ready to do the same thing again tomorrow.
