RISHI PACKAGING is situated at 23, Nav Jyoti Colony, right off Garh Road. It’s a fairly easy spot to find if you know the area. The colony is a mix of homes and small businesses, so there is always a sense of community around us. We deal with boxes, tape, and all sorts of wrapping materials every single day. The warehouse area is usually stacked high with corrugated sheets of cardboard. You have to be very careful walking around so you don’t trip over a roll of plastic film. It smells like cardboard and adhesive in here most of the time. We aren't a giant factory. It’s more of a family-run feel inside these walls. We have a few machines for cutting and folding, and they make a rhythmic thumping sound that we’ve all stopped noticing after a while. Garh Road gets pretty congested with traffic, so we try to get our loading and unloading done early in the morning. Sometimes we are still packing up orders late into the evening when the streetlights outside come on. It is hard work, moving heavy stacks around and making sure all the sizes are exactly right for the customers. We don’t have a slick website or a receptionist sitting at a desk. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our dusty hands and picks it up. It’s straightforward work. We provide what people need to ship their own products safely. It’s not glamorous, but it is necessary.
