Goel Emporium

We have been at Shop No. 20 21 for a good while now. It’s right across from the Tehsil Gurudwara, so it is quite easy to find if you are in the area. Most people use the Gurudwara as a landmark when they are looking for Goel Emporium. The morning starts early here because the street gets busy fast. We have two shop spaces joined together to fit everything inside. It’s not a giant warehouse, just a regular local spot where we keep our stock. Sometimes it feels a bit crowded when a few people come in at once, but we manage. Being opposite the Tehsil Gurudwara means we hear the prayers and see the crowds every day. It’s a nice part of the neighborhood to be in. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where you can see what we have. Most of our days are spent organizing items or chatting with the regulars who stop by after their visit to the temple. It’s a steady pace. We try to keep the windows clean, though the dust from the road makes it hard sometimes. If you're walking past the Gurudwara, you’ll see our sign at number 20 and 21. We are usually there from morning until the sun goes down. It's just a straightforward shop. We don’t try to be anything else but what we are. We just do our business and go home to our families.
