Jai Shri Creation-Ratnapuri Fams

We are over at Shop No. A-88 in the Marketing Yard in Hapa. If you’ve ever been to the yard, you know how busy it gets with all the farmers and the trucks coming in and out. It’s a dusty place, especially in the dry season. We’ve been here at this shop for a while. The name is Jai Shri Creation, but some people know us as Ratnapuri Fams. We handle a lot of different things related to the market here. Most of my day is spent talking to people who are bringing in goods or looking to buy. It’s not the kind of place where you sit down and relax. There’s always someone shouting or a horn honking outside. My desk is covered in papers and sample bags. I usually have tea with the other shop owners around mid-morning. We talk about the prices and how the season is going. It’s a tight-knit community here in the yard. My son helps me with the accounts because I’m not very good with the digital stuff they want us to use now. We just try to keep things honest and get the work done. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to stack things high up to the ceiling. Sometimes it’s a struggle to find a specific item, but we know where everything is eventually.
