Chandak Agro Equipments

You can find us in Sham Singh Colony, not far from Chawla Hospital. Actually, we are so close to the hospital that we see the ambulances going by all day long. We deal with agro equipments, so our yard is usually full of metal parts and big machines. It’s a family thing, mostly. My uncle and I handle the heavy lifting while my younger brother does the talking. The ground is mostly dirt and gravel, so it gets a bit messy when it rains. We don't have a big air-conditioned office. We just have a small shack with a desk where we keep the receipts. People from the nearby farms come in looking for parts or tools to fix their tractors. We try to keep a bit of everything, but sometimes we run out of the common stuff and have to wait for a delivery. It’s a noisy place because there is always someone hammering on something or testing a motor. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy logo. Our name is just painted on the gate outside. It’s a practical business for practical people. We spend a lot of time cleaning grease off our hands before lunch. The neighbors in Sham Singh Colony are mostly used to the clanking sounds coming from our lot. It’s just a normal day for us, working with our hands and helping the local farmers get back to work.
