Sawna Clinic

You can find our clinic at No. 3 SRW Khuda Wala Tibbi. It is a small place in a part of town that doesn't get much attention. The clinic is basically just a couple of rooms where we see patients for their everyday health problems. We do not have any fancy equipment or a big laboratory here. If someone needs something very complicated, we usually have to send them to the bigger city. But for fevers, coughs, and small cuts, the local people come to us. The waiting area is just a few chairs outside the main room. Since it is Tibbi, everyone knows everyone else. People often stop by just to say hello or ask a quick health question without even having an appointment. We keep a ledger on the table to write down who came in and what they needed for their records. It is a very old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit when it's on high, and the floor is plain concrete. It is honest and basic work. We are not trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. Our focus is just on the people who live around here and making sure they have someone to talk to when they aren't feeling well. It is a long day sometimes, especially during the monsoon when more people get sick, but we just take it one patient at a time.
