Saharan Seeds Producer Company Limited

Our shop is number 22A on the ground floor of the Nai Anaj Mandi in Nohar. Being right there in the grain market means we see everything that happens with the local crops first-hand. It’s a loud, busy place especially during harvest time. We set up Saharan Seeds Producer Company Limited because we wanted to be right where the action is. Most days are spent talking to farmers who come into the Mandi to sell their produce or look for something new to plant. We handle a lot of different seeds and try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit messy when the trucks are lining up outside. Nohar is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we have to be honest about what we're doing. There’s no point in using big words here. We just work with the seeds and the growers. Our space isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We keep the paperwork in the back and the seed samples out front where people can see them. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the dust from the Mandi gets everywhere, but we just clean up and keep going. It’s honest work and we've been doing it for a bit now. We appreciate the people who stop by just to chat about the weather or the crop prices. That's just life in the Mandi.
