Operating R S International out of the main market area is always an adventure because of the noise and the crowds. We are located right near the Ad Hisaria Shopping Complex, so there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the traffic and the people shouting outside all through the day. Our office is packed with files and samples of things we handle. It can get a bit cramped when a lot of people come in at once. We don't really bother with fancy decor or modern furniture. The chairs are old but they are comfortable enough for the long hours we put in. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away on computers that have seen better days. It is a bit of a struggle to find parking around here, so most of us just walk or take a rickshaw. We know the other shop owners nearby and we often share a cup of tea when things slow down for a minute. The market has a life of its own and we are just a small part of that rhythm. We handle a lot of paperwork and tracking for different things moving in and out. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and the days go by fast. We just try to stay organized in the middle of all the market chaos. Even when it rains and the street gets messy, we are still here making sure things get done.
