G.K.Traders

G.K.Traders is tucked away in the Rhd Colony near the Hanumangarh Junction. If you know where Azad Vatika is, we’re just a short walk from there at Plot No.2/54. Living and working in a colony like this means you know your neighbors pretty well. We started out small, trading whatever was in demand at the time, and we’ve just stuck with it. The office is really just a room with some ledgers and a computer that’s seen better days. You can hear the trains from the junction if it’s quiet enough, which gives the place a specific feel. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who drop by. We handle a variety of goods, whatever the local market is looking for. It gets pretty dusty in the summer months, so we’re always cleaning the shelves. We don't have any big secrets to our business. We just show up every day and try to be fair with people. Sometimes things get backed up, or a delivery is late, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone around to help out. We’ve been in this spot for years and don't see ourselves moving anywhere else anytime soon. It’s home for us, and the business is part of that. We take the good days with the bad ones.
