Our office and warehouse is at 3/854, T G Road. If you know Kallabavi, you know this stretch of road gets a lot of lorries. Shiva Ganga Agencies has been operating from here for a bit. We deal with a lot of paperwork and even more heavy lifting. It is mostly about getting things from one place to another. We aren't a retail shop where you come to browse. It is more about the wholesale side of things. The building is older, but it serves the purpose. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger. It’s usually a bit noisy outside because of the traffic on T G Road. My cousin and I run the day-to-day. We don't have a big staff. Just a couple of guys to help load the vehicles. Sometimes orders get delayed because of the rain, but we try to stay on top of it. It’s a straightforward business. We don't spend money on fancy signs or paint. People who need us know where we are. We've lived in Kallabavi all our lives, so we know the shortcuts and the best times to move goods. It's hard work, but it pays the bills. We just focus on getting the crates moved and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. The concrete floor has some cracks, but it holds the weight. That’s all that really matters in this line of work.
