Mahesh Gas Welding

We run Mahesh Gas Welding over in Lashkar Bazar. The shop is at H. No 5-6-39 in the Kammariwada area. It’s a workshop, so it’s not the cleanest place you’ll ever see. There’s always iron scraps, welding masks, and gas tanks around. We’ve been doing this for years. My father started it and now we just keep it going. It’s hot work, especially in the summer, but we’re used to it. People bring in all sorts of things that need fixing. Broken gates, bicycle frames, or bits of machinery. We don't have a website or a fancy office. We just have our tools and our hands. Kammariwada is a busy spot with lots of craftsmen. We know everyone on the street. If you need something welded, you just show up and we take a look at it. Sometimes it takes ten minutes, sometimes it takes all day. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just gas welding. We make sure the joints are strong and the metal holds together. That’s about it. The floor is usually covered in dust and the walls are a bit dark from the fumes. It’s an honest living. We don't have any corporate slogans. We just light the torch and get to work when a customer walks in with a problem. We’ve been at this same house number for a long time.
